Right now, there is also a large amount of bullish sentiment in the stock market. This is illustrated by the major gains we’ve seen throughout the past few weeks. And with the Dow Jones continuing to hover near all-time highs, it’s no wonder that so many investors are paying attention. Denison Mines Corp. is a penny stock that we have discussed numerous times in the past few months. This is due to the bullishness surrounding the uranium industry, and Denison’s major role in it. Denison develops various uranium projects located in the country, including the Wheeler River project in which it owns 95% in.
On October 21st, the company announced the sale of Goviex shares and warrants for up to $41.6 million. The company entered a private agreement to sell 32,500,000 common shares of GoviEx Uranium Inc. If the warrants are exercised in full, Denison will get $26 million more in gross proceeds.
This transaction is expected to be closed by the end of October 2021. Denison has stated that it plans to use the net proceeds of the transaction for general corporate purposes.
